First Trading Day of the Year

First trading day of the year produced negative results across the board:

DJIA down -1.58%, NASDAQ down -2.08%, S&P 500 down -1.53%

StockPicksForProfit Portfolio down -1.40%

Same trend for the end of the first trading week in year 2016:

DJIA down -6.19%, NASDAQ down -7.26%, S&P 500 down -5.96%

StockPicksForProfit Portfolio down -6.62%

With the exception of the DJIA last year started off pretty much the same and we know how 2015 ended.

Monday StockPicksForProfit indicator changed from an uptrend to a down trend.

Some say end of January predicts end of year. Last year the NASDAQ contradicted that prediction.
